Pretty sure I have one. Can you send me the part # you are looking for so I can
be sure the extra 1 I have is correct one. I have 2 extra actually, let me
know.
I would be glad to send one up to you.

Subject: [Vwdiesel] looking for an old-style lowing timing cover "dirt
deflector" triangle piece.
Dealer just told me the old-style lower timing belt cover "dirt
deflector" - the little triangle plastic piece that sits just above the
crank sprocket and inside the timing belt is NLA.
I know I could replace it with a new-style unit, but I've just assembled
all the front side of this engine, and would rather just put the
deflector on instead of stripping the whole thing down. Anyone have one
of these lying around? (List was $25.)
