[Vwdiesel] Quantum Diesel Parts Needed

Wow. What a great response to my diesel problems. Thank you all for your inputs.
To make things simple, let's ignore the starter problem and look at the injectors. When I bought this Quantum four or five years ago, it had a remanufactured engine with about 40,000 miles on it. I thought wow, how lucky for me to find this fine old car. Ha. It has required an injection pump rebuild, a new head gasket, a new crankshaft pulley, and that's just the engine. (But I still love this car).
A week or so ago, the engine started smoking bad at start up and, sometimes, at idle. I assumed it was one injector leaking. What else could be causing this smoking?
Thanks,
Gerry
