[Vwdiesel] Auto Trans fluid change problem

I change the internal solenoids in my '01 Jetta 4spd Auto (09M) at 165k
miles because it was shifting slowly.
Mine did not have the standpipe in the pan used to check the level and so
put back in what I had taken out plus 1/4 liter (for leakage at 165k).

My '04 jetta the VW manual only says to put in what is take out. No
standpipe was EVER designed for it.

Nice german engineering, geesh.
