There is nothing wrong with fixing it, just a matter of cost. Find out how 
much to repair (from a known good repair place) and compare to the cost of a 
replacement one.

Actually, It's funny you ask this now, as mine just broke last night on the 
4kq. I'm going to repair it tomorrow. Can't live without AC these days. Used 
to think it was unnecessary, but as the years go on, it becomes very 
necessary.

Suppose a body had a broken aluminum line on their a/c condenser. It is 
impossible to overstate how much it would be a bad idea to ask why this is.

Regardless, is it possible to get that aluminum tube fixed, or should I just 
go head buy a new condenser?
