[Vwdiesel] problem with diesel

Check the cam timing. Maybe you have a piston hitting a valve, or there is
a foreign object in the cylinders. Are there mice where the engine has
been stored? They love to fill small spaces with grain and seeds. Could
water/coolant/oil/cat pee have found it's way into an open port?
If it turns it isn't seized. Seized stuff doesn't turn.

Subject: [Vwdiesel] problem with diesel
I recently bought a new 1.9 AAZ TD engine and tranny, it came from Canada.
It
took me awhile to put it into a rabbit pickup. When i tried to start it up
the
first time, it turns but then it stops. What could be the problem, is it
seized?
