[Vwdiesel] 5K TDQA

I've been searching for any BTDTs and found references to guys putting them into VW Synchros as such..

I'm drooling on a 2.4 5-cyl TD build that has the same bore and stroke specs as the 1.9 TDI.. should be a monster.

I've seen references to the 5 cyl gasser flywheel being tried and discarded in favor of the earlier 5 cyl non-turbo diesel flywheel, or the Volvo (VW) 6 cylinder flywheel, though I don't know for what reason(s).. Dual mass? Overall weight? Any guesses?

I'll start with the 2.0 with studs, flow work and fueling before searching Canada for a 2.4.. the 2.0 is in my back yard and complete.. save for the cam.

Anyone have a 5 Cylinder TD cam?
A 5 Cylinder non-Turbo Diesel flywheel?
A 6 Cylinder Volvo Diesel flywheel?
