[Vwdiesel] Preparing to install Lifter Followers, cam, etc on headT

he head is all cleaned up and ready to reinstall.  Lifter followers are due to arrive in a day or two. 

What preparations need to be done to prepare the head for driving?  I thought I had read something about bleeding the followers with oil before installation once, but did not find much useful information in the Bentley.

I also assume that I should use some kind of assembly lube or oil on the camshaft to head bearing surfaces as well. 

Any other special considerations?  TDI injectors don't have heat shields, right?
