[Vwdiesel] Low compression, valves?

Except I've put 6,000 miles since installing the new piston rings....removed
the injectors and installed new injector seals, installed new glow plugs, so
I'm at a loss...

Not that I know what I'm talking about, but don't new rings take time to
seat before full sealing/c...
