[Vwdiesel] Low compression, valves?

key here is oil, NOT wet diesel. I would replace the rod and put new rings on
that piston. but, tons of work for sure.

I've tried a couple different injectors, same results. Also, every time I
pull the injector for #2 it has a lot of oil on it

Have you checked the injector? If it's not shooting well (new doesn't
necessarily
mean it's perfect) then that cylinder won't fire right, rings won't seat
right and
could concieveably result with low compression and missing at idle.
