Brilliant minds think alike. I just bought some used injectors,
got 5 of the 130bar and 2 of the 155bar for $40. I'm going to source
some nozzles this week and take a shot at rebuilding them. The only
stick in the mud is that I don't have an injector pressure tester.
I imagine I can find a shop that will test them for me but what I
really need to do is build a tester myself. I've looked over some
how to threads on the vortex and it doesn't seem all that hard.
On a side note I just got delivery today of a motometer diesel
compression tester. Waiting on the paper graph cards that this
machine uses.

Ok, where'd you find the cards? I believe all mine are in bar instead of
psi.
  I have a tester, but if I didn't, I don't know that I'd get one, knowing
what I now know. (experience). New nozzles, dress down the mating
surfaces that wear (upper holder half and "middle" piece) with some
400 grit, wet/dry with oil, clean well and assemble with innards dripping
cleaned with diesel or WD-40. Torque to 2lbs more than it says (so if you
have to remove one by the top, it'll more likely come out of the head).
They spray properly 90% of the time and don't leak. :-) Sometimes you
really need to gush the fuel through to get them to clear but a good, full
throttle run usually does that.
