[Vwdiesel] how to test rear window defrost lines

I have done a rear window in a monte inplace after the guy's kids used a
frost scraper to clean the window on the inside.... real nice. It is
possible, but patience is kind of used up by quittin time... think many thin
coats.
If it's an easy removal for the hatch, yea, go for it as it would speed up
things remarkably for cleaning and masking, just don't glob the stuff on.
It's easy to use too much, then it looks like hell, working or not. When
done, you should barely be able to tell it's been fixed. I've seen some that
just blobbed it on, no masking, like you stuck gum on the breaks, THAT was
special.
Oh, and mix the product well.

I got a little jar off ebay.US

Alas I'll have to remove the rear door as I don't think it will work on the
underside of a slope. Only 2 of the strips work, is that a record? [Other
than none that is ;o)...]
