I had/maintained at least two with half the cam lock missing.   Just made 
it so you HAD to 
eyeball it to time it.  Wasn't until the second half snapped on one of  
them (don't remember 
how anymore) that I replaced that one.  (no thrust left.)   Otherwise 
there's still enough thrust 
surface to hold it in place.  You can run it a long time like  that.
