Well, I was able to "patch" mine. Plugged broken nipples with small screw and silicone sealer. Will try to get proper check valve and grommet soon. My plastic line is 9mm I.D. and 12mm-13mm O.D. I will cotinue to seek my heat gun and experiment. ken

It can simply be replaced with the standard Vw vent line in that size. I
don't recall exactly what size, but 7mm seems to come to mind.
The hose splits all the time on late model VAG's, and we just replace it
with the older flexible stuff. Never have any issues after replacement.
