[Vwdiesel] Think I can tow my boat with my golf?

Ha ha, Loren! You haven't gotten quite far enough east yet! We have the Flint Hills out here! Really, Salina/I-135 is basically the west edge of the hilly area.
I was able to pull the old boat out with the Corrado OK, though sometimes there would be a bit of white-knuckled wheel spinning if the ramp was wet!
I figure the first couple times I'll make sure there is a truck that can pull the trailer up if needed, but I don't think it'll be a big deal, the concrete on the ramp has been grooved pretty well. Or I'll have someone sit on the hood of the Golf!
Assuming I go this route, I do plan to pull up Travis' threads and copy the plan for mine.
The only thing is that I won't want to drive the Golf into the water to launch the boat like I did with the Exploder a couple times.

Not like you're going to encouner any hills on the way! :-D Maybe add
an winch to your savings purchases and if the ramp's too steep, let the
trailer down the ramp via winch then back up as well, parking where you have
enough traction to get going?
