Great investigation work for sure. I have to remember the soapy water and bubbles approach. Great stuff. Now, Time to relax for a few days with the family.
I just got a 04 Golf TDI with Automatic 5 speeds 2 weeks ago to replace the 92 Jetta 1.6TD.
Did my first oil change tonight, bottom end looks good.
stock motor with low miles. 110K

Congrats on the fix Travis.
Impressively creative cargo capacity there. You'll have to let us know
what kind of MPG you get with that setup.
