[Vwdiesel] TDI tires

I agree w/James that dry gas is the real benefit.  I recently bought a
10 year old Subaru for my sister, which had a slow leak.  Tire shop
says it's due to corrosion at the bead of the alloy rim, and I would
guess that filling with dry gas would help prevent that, but not if
the tire is sopping wet when it gets mounted...
