[Vwdiesel] Still fighting my IP

Two plus days of fighting with this injection pump. Well off and on but still running out of ideas. I just can't get the cog pulley off. On this Kubvan there is only two inches between the pulley and the side panel. I tried going from wood wedges to home made puller and than onto more violent methods but the dang thing will not release. I know the pump must have been off once before by a PO as the retaining bracket for the inner and lower mounting bolt was not under the rear bolt. I guess the shaft/pulley bolt was over torqued and this thing is really planted on the taper.

I made a puller and was able to really put some pulling pressure on it and took a long punch and hammer to a flat on the bolt still not budging. 

Even if I pulled the motor the only change in attack would be a straight hit on the drive shaft. I have already beat up the pulley so bad I'll need the spare I have. I also think heat is not an option as the idea of using a torch in a tight area on a diesel soaked pump. At this time pump and pulley are disposable.

Any other ideas?
