[Vwdiesel] Veggie oil

Bio that is processed properly in a PD motor has been run for many miles on many engines.
Would I do a heated 2 tank system in a PD or CR motor, no.
The reason for going through the trouble to make the bio is the removal of the Free Fatty Acids, the stuff that clogs up the injectors and fuel system. Bio mixed 50/50 in a PD motor should be fine. But again, only time will tell. I will use it more in my IDI motors for sure.

I too would caution against veggy oil in a TDI's diesel fuel system. I think the ALH and previous engines can handle it ok but there are some that have issues. Once you get to the PD engines and CR engines forget about ever trying it. It honestly would be better to find an older diesel car to do this too in my books. But everyone is free to experiment on their own things to see if it works.
