[Vwdiesel] Fuel Flow Guage

  I have a couple Compucruise's that I want to make work on the diesles.  Similar dilemma.  I've come up with two solutions.  Either loop the fuel under the hood and just measure what goes into the loop (return just goes back to a point in front of the sensor rather than back to the tank). or I use two, identical sensors, in my case the ones from a Compucruise, and  have an EE friend build a subtractor circuit of some kind, that reads the first sensor, subtracts what it reads from the second and then sends a signal of the difference, to the unit.

  We're on the dry side of the State and we've had a quarter inch in the last 24hrs.  :-P

I'd like to make a fuel flow gauge for my 180 VW Rabbit, has anyone seen a good 
ensor for this or a complete gauge? I realize I need 2 sensors 1 for fuel into 
he injection pump and 1 for fuel out of the injection pump.
