[Vwdiesel] AC and brake lights

  I found my problem w the AC.  Some road debris has punched a hole
in my condenser so no refrigerant, no cold air. Got a price $350 to
repair, parts and labor. This seems reasonable to me so I'm going to
go for it.  On the brake lights, the oddest thing happened, I had 
turned on the recirculation button when I was driving thru a dusty
industrial area.  I didn't at the time take note that this action
triggered the brake alarm and tone.  When I turned that button off,
the alarm went off and the light went out. Go figure!
