Here is a good stepby-step with pics. To me the hardest was steering wheel removal, due to fact that it had an adapter on the clolumn for a large hole wheel, then the speedo cable was a pain.

Subject: [Vwdiesel] odometer stopped working

>From what I have read it is a major pain to remove the instrument cluster on
a MKII Jetta. Is this correct? My odometer stopped working at 274313
miles. I would like to get it working but don't have much time on my hands
since product season is getting close and I have a ton of things I need to
do before I get super busy with produce.

Thanks,

Nick
