[Vwdiesel] front suspension discusion

great timing, i am currently on my mechanics wait list for control arm  bushings and shock/strut top bearing.i have a 90 passat. what i hear most saying or leaning towards is the replacement of the control arm in total with newbushings, correct or is there some condition were one might press in new bushings. it looks like I will be doing the work in one of his bays with help if needed as he is so backed up larger client work.
