[Vwdiesel] VW truck - washer fluid pump/wiring issue

Well-I tried just for the heck of it the wiper wash function while driving-and it worked. I am thinking some junk buildup on the contactor in the wiper switch. Thanks for the help. I am down to gauges and visor install. Truck is running pretty nice. It has the Giles pump on there my brother didn't like. I don't mind it. The cold start knob doesn't seem to do anything though. Brother noticed the same thing. But-I won't drive in the winter in this state anyways so not a big deal. Sometime I wouldn't mind finding where the wires are for the drivers door light switch (the one that activates the buzzer when the key is in with door open). I don't see wires in there nor do I see them from behind the dash where they enter.

I still need to get my pass airbag controler worked on in the 04 Golf and the Hatch wires. Anyone working on hatch wiring that has tips of how to do it. I see copper wire from the coating split open.

Once I get done with a couple of my fathers projects the 85 golf will get running (hopefully) and rebuild the Geo engine so it actually gets 40 MPG and doesn't use as much oil as it does fuel (bad rings, valve seals, etc-common at 100K from what I have heard).
