  Argh!!!  :-)
  Any stove cement I've seen, turns hard and would likely blow out in the first few hours.  Hard to get solder to breach a hole bigger than an electrical component or small body puller will fit in.
  Brazing will span the hole if you're good but then there's something called welding!
I'm no great welder but I've done a few cast and ss welds lately. I now do the repairs for a local restaurant's kitchen stuff and managed to weld back, a broken wheel lug tab on one of the tractors.  Both weld like butter and make you feel like you really know how to weld.
  A friend described something called "cold welding" and it worked great on the tractor.  Dab a short spot, go as far from that and do another, until you can't do any withouth heating up the part.  After each, get a chipping hammer and tap on it until it's nearly cooled off.  Keep repeating until the whole crack/hole is done.  Doesn't get hot enough to crack when it cools.  Takes some time but beats scrapping it.

I have a maniford for a compact diesel tractor, which is cast iron, and now
as a hole in it.  Does anyone have experience patching exhaust manifolds
ith any epoxy materials?
The total area is about equivalent to a 10mm hole.
