I'm still here alright (I'm addicted but have only lurked for ages).
Since my brother and I dropped by to visit Loren in June '00, I've put
all of 23,000 miles on my Caddy, so it is barely broken-in. It has a
nice tight front-end that was aligned at Les Schwab a couple thousand
miles ago. It has been giving 38-40 MPG toolin' around Whidbey, but it
has made 43 on the highway. I always carry an array of tools, spare
parts, and extra fluids that must add a hundred pounds of weight.
Being retired, I just don't drive much anymore and prefer to ride one of
my bicycles or my eCruzbike <http://cruzbike.com/conversion-kit>. The
eCruzbike is a MBB (moveable bottom bracket) FWD recumbent bicycle.
I've added a 24 volt motor (Cyclone 360 watt) to drive the rear wheel,
so it is now a two-wheel drive.
