I don't see the benefit of carrying a*full* filter

Well, I have had one miserable time changing a filter at the side of the road. Never again!
Since I burn a lot of used veggie, the filter can stop suddenly and sometimes dramatically.

If I'm alert, I'll notice it on a couple of uphills in time to find a pull-over, but on level straightaway, it will go until it stops. NOW!

Since I already have the milk crate for all the other stuff, I tuck a tall tomato juice can in one corner, into which the filter and a rag fit perfectly.
I have a salvaged thermo-T, plugged so as not to leak, and a pair of salvaged tit caps to seal the other 2 tits.

I fill it full, and cap it, and stick it in the can. Stored in the back with the trunk monkey.

I'm sure they will have a "filter change" version soon.

The accompanying screw driver releases the clamps, pop out the T, pop in the other one, connect it up, and drive on. I only need the rag if I can't find the trunk gloves.
Have done this twice since I set this up, 2 min max, and in clean clothes!

I should have mentioned, I have the filter holder clamp set loose enough for a press fit, so don't need to find that BIG philips screwdriver to get it out.
Since I seldom fly inverted, I'm not concerned about it coming out.

No sucking on fuel lines, I hate the taste of that stuff!

Sandy
