[Vwdiesel] school casting project

I think you'd have to either add a second lobe to each position on the
camshaft, or possibly put the half size sprocket on the camshaft so it
turns twice as fast. (Though then the timing belt would need to be
shortened, or a longer path devised somehow.) A two stroke engine should
have an exhaust stroke every time the piston comes up, for the true two
stroke. Then you'd have to connect the intake valves to the exhaust
somehow, which seems like it could be a bit of a pain.

All in all, quite a project! I guess that's what they were asking for, just
a different variety...
