[Vwdiesel] Water/Methanol injection

Some information I dug up several years ago indicated that it also helps with power, by the steam it creates (by cooling).  The steam's expansion rate is fairly high and efficient so it supposedly adds power simply by being one more expanding gas during combustion.  Dunno but makes more sense of it doing more than just cooling, which would only allow more timing advance (this was all realative to gassers at the time).

1.6 TD doesn't have an intercooler right?  In that case it seems like the
njection would really help as its primary purpose is to cool the intake
harge.
