Hi Bryan;
	It was like that in the old days. About 1963 I bought a 1958 Porsche 356A Coupe. The first thing I needed to replace wasa a rear wheel bearing. The parts man showed me 2 bearings and 2 boxes. One box said Volkswagen the other Porsche. In each of the boxes was a bearing that each had the same number and the same manufacture. The VW was $7.50 the Porsche was $15.00. I opted for VW.

  I've seen some things listed for a later A2 model but not for the earlier ones when they're the same. Many places seem to be cutting back on their listings... to save money? Rather than actually cutting back on the parts. IE, the horn retainers for '81 to '84 Rabbits, etc, are NLA but look them up for a Porsche and they're everywhere... Interchangeable.

Any one know why Moog would list a coil spring as fitting the 82 Rabbit but have
o listing for the 82 Jetta? Moog number is CC206.
