Nice find, wish I needed it.  Not a bad price for an ALL in ONE package like that.  So So rare for sure to have a complete set like this.

Hi Hayden;
    I have a BAE kit that I bought from a Rabbit pickup wreck about 15
years ago. I installed it on a Rabbit pickup but could never tame the EGT's.
Knowing that the VW factory turbo setup for the 1.6 diesel must be fairly
idiot proof or they probably wouldn't have kept selling them I found a used
VW turbo setup. I installed the VW setup and the truck ran great with lots
of power. I will probably install the BAE kit in my 1981 Dasher wagon this
year but I will use a VW Turbo intake manifold. I think the BAE intake
manifold setting so close to the exhaust manifold and pretty much covering
it was probably the main problem. If I can't tame the EGT's I will install a
stock vW turbo setup. I have the BAE setup so I will try again to use it. If
one installs any turbo on a 1.6 diesel I believe one needs a pyrometer and a
good external oil cooler if one expects it to live. I also have a Snow
performance water methanol injector on my VW 1.6 turbo diesel I have
installed in my 1990 VW Fox. It really helps with the EGT's and the power
when I have my foot in the pump.
