[Vwdiesel] confirm or ? (fwd)

>From my experience, with the information given, and none other,
I have the following probability distribution:

wheel bearing:65%
CV:33%
other: 2%

Here's my reasoning:  
 
Wheel bearings are senstive to loading, and turns, and tilted operation 
where there are sideloads tend to show wheel bearing problems.

CV joints tend to be impacted by two things: rotational torque and angle
of the CV joint.  Sometimes CV joints only make noise with rotation in 
one direction.

There are other things like brake backing plates, ABS sensors, etc which 
can rub against rotating parts and make grinding noise.
