  Driven off isn't exactly correct.  He actually was the reason a few/several list members left.  As well as giving some interesting ideas and whatnot, he was giving advice that was either downright wrong or potentially detrimental.  Not to mention diatribes on OT subjects.  Not that we don't most do such at times.  He just would make a regular habbit of it.   
  We were PM friends and if he hadn't had such a downturn in health, we were planning to meet shortly before he passed.
  As I recall he left the list after I'd had it with the infighting and unsubscribed myself, for the first time since it's inception as "The Kirby list.

  Anybody know what ever happened to Kirby anyway?
