[Vwdiesel] Diesel Cabin Heaters for Westy

I second what Pat said.
I have two Espar (Eberspacher) units in highway tractor units.  These sit in an unheated quonset, no power handy.  In winter, one hour on heat, the truck is toasty warm, They are exceedingly reliable, as were the Eberspacher units in gas cars and busses I've owned over the years. Parts.  Every thing I have ever needed to replace on an Eberspacher has been available, and I'm referring to the old stuff... the new ones have been flawless.
I know of two Proheat units that have been replaced on friend's power units due to unit catastrophic failure (heat exchanger failure/ collapse/overheat).
For my tastes, the ones made by the C.Hina company would need to be either really inexpensive, to the point where you could replace a few for the same price as one Espar to be worth considering. Unfortunately, I have a rubbish bin full of really good deals from China that have failed in use. For something that contains fire in normal usage, I would consider that carefully before taking the plunge.
