[Vwdiesel] [VW-TDI] Transporting a TDI engine across the US/Canada border

You guys are right, "Passport or Enhanced ID" are required, I thought they
hadn't changed that for land/sea yet but I guess I missed it.

Funny story, a couple years ago, shortly after I had renewed my passport, I
had packed in a hurry and accidentally grabbed my *old* (expired with a
hole punched through it) passport.

When I got to the border I told the guy I was an idiot and was going to
visit my 102 year old grandmother (both true) and he let me in without much
trouble.  in fact I got more crap from the US guy on the way back.
