Try this. if it doesn't make the trip, I'll P-mail the pdf to you.
http://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CCYQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dieselbookmarks.com%2Fbombers%2FVEPump.pdf&ei=XKj6Uq-CGPKpsASh1YHoCQ&usg=AFQjCNGjFsXGtpz8gpZZJg4dfIPsPhEuHA&bvm=bv.61190604,d.b2I
The URL is all a single concatenated line. (I don't know how to do 'tiny
URL')
This, among other things, explains the internal governor, and the
difference between the "car" governor and the "reefer" governor ( useful
to vw generator nuts like me).
In the description, it uses terms that sound like they are reversed,
like the fixed speed (generator) pump, they refer to as "the variable
speed governor" it washes out in the context after you read it a few times.
My generator has a Giles modified constant speed governor.
The governor response curves are pure gold, save them in a safe place.
