[Vwdiesel] 2014 Passat TDI SE?

close friend I work with has the 2014 sedan TDI, he LOVES is, I have driven it, nice car, would love to special order the wagon with TDI, zero leg room in my Jetta wagon for adults or bigger teens, fine for kids.  He gets better then listed MPG at times and listed MPG other times, as we watches it like a hawk.  Fuel or something froze up on him this winter, but VW has 3 year no questions asked towing, so towed it from his driveway to the dealer and took him for $180 to charge the battery and put some fuel additive in it once it warmed up, he was pissed, but they had him over a barrel.  It sat 3 days in his driveway in sun, would not start.
 
That happened once to my Jetta wagon when new, in 2005, towed to dealer, forget the charge, but never happened again, I use no fuel additives, some bio-diesel when I can find it.
 
Anyway, I would say order one for sure.
