3 bills just for the flex pipe?
Find a different shop, or just pay it.
Don't drive with exhaust coming in the car, that's bad for you Rolf, the
consequences being worse than paying 3 bills for a flex pipe. You can always
make more money, don't die of thrift.
Obviously your hood to firewall gaskets aren't the greatest either, letting
the hvac suck air from the engine compartment in. Maybe have a look at that
too, engine compartment to rain and leaf collection tray by the windshield
wipers where the hvac sucks from should be completely isolated to atmosphere
outside the engine compartment. Check the drains too, might be held open
with leaves.

hi all
I have a pinhole leak in my flex pipe, and apparently an undersized
(non-factory) catalytic converter (which may be why the flex pipe developed
a leak)
exhaust in the cabin - I'm driving with windows open
wondering best/cheapest stuff to swap in there - anyone know a good but
affordable CC? source for flex pipe? is there anything smart to do here?
local place wants $300 just to do the flex pipe (!)
thanks,
Rolf in MA
