[Vwdiesel] VW issues

I bought an ALH engine that had a massive engine fire. The hard parts were
still good and since I had no intention of using the electronics anyway I
just had to replace a few plastic bits like timing cover, oil filter cover,
etc... Worked out well for me.
A good friend bought a VW Quantum 1.6TD that had a massive engine fire.
My brother had a John Deer skidder that caught on fire and was completely
destroyed from a diesel fuel leak.
That's three that I've dealt with first hand.
