[Vwdiesel] Updates on engine fire

I have the front bumper off the car now as well. I took an inventory of what I need. Someone in Philly is helping me out with some new and used parts including the large rad fan, radiator, timing belt kit and several other things for $900 (trust me-worth it for the list of parts). Should get me closer to my goal of getting it back together. I hopefully will be buying an 07 EXL Honda Odyssey Saturday at a used car dealer 1.5 hours away. Has the full towing package (hitch, power steering cooler, tranny cooler) with 153K miles for $7900. Has 8 seats and DVD as well. Also will be on my way to pick up a JD 420 L&G tractor with cab/blower/mower as a guy blew the engine and the price was just too good. 

Now if winter would just stop. I am SICK of the cold and the wind. I can handle the snow but the rest is getting to everyone. Propane is EXPENSIVE. 300 gallons was $800-double the cost last fall. And I hear it will go double that shortly. I made the appointment 4 weeks ago and my tank is the size I need to fill once in the winter. 

With the turbo talk-why wasn't the prob put before the turbo? Just curious. Isn't hard to do and I did it in my car while in the car.
