[Vwdiesel] Clutch pain

I used the sissor jack from on of the rabbits to push the engine forward. That is one key to leaving the axle in the car. I used a harbor freight engine holder that supports from the fender area above. I have seen others use wood to make there own. The harbor freight one you can lift/lower the engine as well. Then I used a motorcycle jack underneath to get it out/down. I used the same jack to help raise but I think I may have also used an engine hoist to help align. If I were to to it again I would buy a true transmission jack since they can be tilted different ways which needs to be done in this case. It took a LOT of swearing to get it to go but finally it didn't want any more swear words and it just went together on its own (I wish). My wife did mention something. I did it and it slipped right in then. She got a BIG hug. 

What happened that you need to grind the bolt heads off? Dual mass come apart?
