[Vwdiesel] VW show today in Ft. Worth, TX

Well, I know this isn’t diesel specific, although I did use the Jetta to tow my 1968 Beetle to the show.  I finally got the car out of the garage and to a show today.  It isn’t running yet but was together enough to show it.  Anyway when all was said and done, in the 1968 and up stock category, there was a tie for 2nd and a tie for 3rd places and I didn’t get either one of those…..I actually won First Place!!!  Boy was I surprised.  It still isn’t running yet because I still have some wiring to finish but gosh First Place!!!  Make the last 5 years of work worth it.  I am really on cloud nine.  BTW  the Jetta did great towing the bug except for 2 times on the same curve the bug decided to push me around the corner with the cars in a tight “V” arrangement.  Kind of white knuckle time.
