[Vwdiesel] 85 Jetta TD w/AC fan blower resistors

The 4 position fan switch is only providing full or 1/2 speed blowing. There should be 3 resistors to control the fan motor speed. Anyone know the ohms and watts of the resistors? Not listed in workshop manual. I can experiment with the ohms resistance but not sure about the wattage requirement. Maybe the fan resistors are close to the same value in most blower fans......TX in advance...
