[Vwdiesel] stripped tensioner bolt hole

anybody ever removed that carrier arm for the serpentine chain? I'm not opposed to doing an insert, I've done tons of inserts over the years, especially in aluminum (grrr) - but I don't want to take on a huge job - thoughts on carrier arm removal? thx
