[Vwdiesel] Another puzzle to solve...

Ongoing sta5us of high beams not working. Tested both headlights on caddy; both lamps have working high beams and low beams. Tested wiring harness; high beams not switching over when using wand at steering column, but low beams still operate. Still working on project.

Just had an rude awakening; got up early today, still quite dark outside, started my 1982 caddy and took off. About a mile down the highway, decided to see if bright lights would aid me seeing thru some low foggy spots......Pulled the bright light wand upward and BOOM! was surrounded by total darkness and no Bright LED on. Pulled the wand again and dim lights were restored. Another puzzle to solve.
