So.1.  The 1982 Dayton 14" chain saw is running nice.Swapped the carb from my other parts engine and it fired up and drew fuel after a bit of getting it to run off of the syringe.  Had to get all the air out of the fuel line.  Seems to run nice.For sure the other carb has a broken diaphragm.
I will order 2 repair kits for the Walbro carbs, even though this carb is running now, I have heard the gas of today eats up the insides of the carb, so I will be ready.  
2.  Low oil pressure in the bug when motor is hot.  Problem solved.a. Major scoring of the cover plate, it needs to be sanded with 80 and 180 back to smooth.b. I put the wrong gasket in-between the cover plate and the oil pump housing.  Too thick and no holes.I will measure the distance between the gear faces and the end of the pump housing, if .004" or more, no gasket, if .003 or less, thin paper gasket with small holes for the oil grove.
I will do this fix tomorrow, just took the cover off and saw the 2 blaring issues right away, very cool. Thanks all.
