performance upgrades etc...

	I am thinking about purchasing an Audi 4000 Quattro
(or if I can find a cheap one, the Quattro Coupe).  What
performance upgrades are available for these cars?  Are certain years
better than others (I know that they upgraded the type of differential
bvut I don't know when) - in regards to the 4000 and the Coupe (older
style not the new style).  I had noticed one person mention having 
an adjustable wastegate on a Quattro ( I think it was a 4000), this
was obviously a modified car - anyonenow a{ytything about this (I saw
this on rec.autos or rec.autos.tech)?
