Rare 200Q

I bought a 1991 200Q recently from an Audi dealer in Flemington, NJ.
It was a left over demo from Audi of America. The dealer got 5 of
them and sold them very quick for $ 31,000 a piece. I didn't hesitate
to buy one because I wanted one all along but I wasn't ready to fork
$ 45,000. I really don't know if they depreciate really bad and I
don't think I care since I plan to drive this car to the ground.
However, I could've sold it already to a co-worker that absolutely
loves this car.

According to an article in Car and Driver (December 1989 ?) Audi
planned to make a total of 1,200 of these cars for the US market (I
don't recall if Canada had a quota).

I saw a used car dealer add for a 1990 200Q for $24 500 CAN in the paper
on Saturday. By Monday afternoon it was sold. It seems that this car sold
in relatively small quantities when new (at least in Montreal) that it is
very difficult to buy on the used market. I reckon that this Audi does
not depreciate like a typical Audi since the people who want to buy it
on the used market know exactly what they want.

What is the availability of this car in other parts of the world?
How many did they sell in the US and Canada in 1990?
What would be a reasonable price to pay for this car?
