Diagnostic modes?

Does anyone know if the climate control system will give a readout of
diagnostic error codes? I recently read that the GM climate control
system (as used in many Audis) will enter diagnostic mode if you
press the "off" and "warmer" buttons at the same time. The codes are
also supposedly cleared if you press "Off" and "HI" at the same time.
I haven't tried this yet, but if it does work, does anyone know what
the codes stand for? Are they the same as the GM error codes? Since
Audi uses their own computer, I figure that there is little chance
of them matching up, if they are even there.
