4000Q suspension components

I have an '85 4000Q in need of new struts. The car has 57K miles on it and
am wondering what might be available in the way of aftermarket suspension
components. I looked through the quattro archive, but didn't find anything
immediately pertinent.

I like the stock ride, perhaps a bit firmer would be tolerable. However, I
grind the mudflaps on hard corners with a bit too much body lean. I'm
probably looking at struts for sure, but maybe a different sway bar and
stiffer springs. I may even consider adjustable struts, but they're likely
a lot more expensive.

I have heard (and seen) the front stock sway bar is quite beefy and there
might not be a stiffer one. Can anyone shed some light on sources, price
and/or availability for these components.
