5000 CS Turbo Quattro

I talked to a car salesman this morning and he told me that the 5000 Turbo
Quattro only came with the CS option package.

I looked up the average retail prices for the 5000 CS Turbo Quattro in the
September NADA book.

    '86.........$7,050
    '87.........$8,575
    '88........$12,550

There is quite a jump in price from '87 to '88.  Does anyone know why?
Did this year get a torson diff and ABS?
